Red maple leafWith red maples glowing like jewels with the sun shining through them, it was a hot work day on what is likely the last day we will see 85 degrees. A team of eight spent the day pressure washing decks and steps and re-spacing deck boards closer together. 
Deck boardsWhen they removed the boards, they saw that someone, probably a Black Bear Field Study Course participant, lost a lens cap, which won’t happen again.
It was another safe day for the bears here.
