Today, Team Forward arrived to help get ready for the Black Bear Field Courses. Three-year-old Chloe soon showed up with little Charlie Brown and Lincoln. They had never seen cubs that small before. A treat. Earlier, Chloe and cubs had appeared briefly, but when RC, Chloe’s mother, also appeared the family went up trees. 
Phoebe w/tuft of bear furThe sun was right to reveal that Charlie Brown is losing his golden fur on his face and legs and growing in dark fur as the picture shows. I suspect he will be a bear that will bleach out and shed golden fur each year and then start over with very dark brown fur.
An Eastern Phoebe got fooled by a tuft of bear hair caught in a crevice. He or she attacked it like it was a bug several times and then flew off.
