Gearing up for Jewel

Today, we depended totally on the den-watchers to record data as we started gearing up for tomorrow. The technology team is planning to splice together the cables from last year to get Jewel’s Den Cam online. We can’t wait for the new cable to arrive. Tomorrow is the day!

We hope the team will also have time to check for the cause of microphone static on Lily’s Den Cam. We seem to remember static last year just before we lost all sound when a snowshoe hare chewed through the cable.

Early update tonight because of a staff party at the Bear Center this evening.
