National Geographic - video featuring black bear field study course
Producer/videographer Lia Kvatum attended the May 10-13, 2009 Black Bear Field Study Course.
The bear 'kissing' Lynn Rogers in this video is not a wild bear. Ted E. Bear is a captive born and raised bear who now resides at the North American Bear Center (www.bear.org). Although Ted is perhaps the largest black bear in the world, he would rather lick your face than eat and he is particularly fond of Lynn.
