Holly has been busy licking the lens, making it harder for us to see what she is doing with her paws. We think she is busy removing her old stiff foot pads, nibbling them off.

Out the window at the WRI, a red squirrel is caught in a snow shower. Later on this overcast day, the female pine marten stopped by for some bites of date mash.
Red squirrel in a snow showerIt was a nice Christmas with Donna—a good, restful day. My big present to her (and to me) was matching 4-bears t-shirts from the Bear Center. They were about out of them but have been re-ordered.
