Dr. Rogers is still busy working on papers. Staff is filling in for him tonight with a brief update.
Tasha
This afternoon Tasha was moved to the larger bunker den pen. This will allow Lucky and Holly to make visits to the smaller pen adjacent to Tasha. She is secure and Holly and Lucky are not able to get in her den. It’s time for closer visits with Tasha and for the bears to get better acquainted.
Staff gave her some fresh straw to make a bed in the larger bunker den. She loved rolling around and raking in the fresh straw. We’ll have to see if she uses the straw to make a bed. A Lily Fan caught the action on video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuRrlVvvj2A.

As you can see Tasha posed nicely for a picture of her eye. Her eyes speak volumes. Tasha likes her back rubbed and is now responding more and more a good back rub to help remove her winter coat. Today she rubbed her back against her den door. Her muzzle is soft and she is very vocal, she has a deep voice.
